Tamaki

when we got to tamaki we went to our normal tech at tamaki college to do food tech and to cook cheech’s. Then when we finished we went to the library to meet Mrs Goerge for her to lead us the way to our classes.

Drought

There town that they were living in is so hot, they call it drought. In every classroom all their windows and there doors are open, every teacher, every student and everybody had drought.

It was very hot in the summer over there. All they wanted to do is swim in a nice deep cold pool.Every day her dad works and sleeps for a little while.

As she was telling dad about her homework that she’s suppose to do, her dad falls asleep on the kitchen table and i stare at the stars outside.

           Swimming Theory

Yesterday at swimming the people who had their togs went swimming in the pool on the court just outside of the staff room. When we got to the court, Mr harris said for the people who didn’t have any togs to go get a pen or pencil and a paper.

We had to write about the things that you might need if you get stranded in the middle of the ocean, you will find the hyperlink down below. what we learned about was that when you get stuck in the middle of the ocean, you need these supplies to  extend their lifeline on the sea.

The things you will need are listed in a sheet like Things that keep you afloat like a chilly bin or a plank of wood. If you were stuck in the middle of the ocean, what would you do? I would find the nearest thing that keeps afloat and stay on it.

Maniakalani

Yesterday it was a beautiful day at Pt England school. We went off to sylvia park to watch the manaiakalani film festival, to watch all the school’s movies that they made from there camera. We left at 2:00 to take a bus to sylvia park.

Then we went into hoyts cinema to go to the x extreme screen that is three times as bigger than the normal cinema screen.When I got there there were a lot of people in seats.

Different schools and people come to manaiakalani to watch different video’s from around auckland gather into the cinema to watch magnificent movies.

bike ride

My friend Jake Muller and I went for a bike ride in the forest in the town of Denver, Colorado. we took a car to the forest and took our bikes too. When we got there he wanted to rush to the forest and bike fast but I wanted to be patient. So we were ready to go and bike into the forest.

Until Jake went along and sprinted with his bike all the way to the other side, and when he got there something happened. He had skidded to the street and fell over, but he invented a new move.

He invented the 1 and a half flip, but at the end he really got hurt. they called the ambulance and he went to the nearest hospital. When he got there everyone was surprised when he woke up and everyone lived happily ever after.

Stomach Churning

One day at the Fun park, this young boy and his friends went to this amusement park. When they got there the young boy was a bit afraid that he was going to go on the big roller coaster called “ The big monster “. when they finished all of the rides he got a bit sick of all of the candy and soft drinks.

When it was nearly closing time there was only one ride to go on, The big monster. He was very scared but his friends were so excited to ride the roller coaster. he tried to get off the ride by saying “ I need to go toilet “. but they didn’t let him.

He went on the roller coaster and then he got frightened to go down. Then his friends were saying “   don’t be scared “. Face frowning, stomach churning and heart pumping. He got sick a vomited on his friends and all of the people on the ride. They were saying “ okay that’s enough for today”. Then they went home.

Jesus told Peter to walk on the water to him and Jesus said Peter, come to me and you will be safe. he put one foot into the water, it sank but Jesus told him to believe in him so he looked at Jesus and only Jesus and he put the other foot over the side of the boat and he was floating.

His crew was amazed by Peter floating on the water. Peter started to look down and he started not believing in him so he started to sink. He was very scared and then Jesus said to Peter grab my hand and you'll be okay so he grabbed his hand and floated again.

Making decsions

Making decisions is about the brain choosing what is best for you and your body. People mostly choose to do the wrong things to do like if you were going to eat sweets that makes you fat, or to eat fruit and veggies to make you nice and strong and longer lasting. Decision making is very much like life risking because you can choose to live or die from either suicide or smoking or drinking problems.

I’m going to make the right decisions because i won’t drink or smoke or cause suicide because I choose the good path because some people follow the bad people like Adolf Hitler when they should be going with good people like Rambo and God. I like doing the right decisions because when you do homework and college and pass all of them.

It can mean you get a great job, a lot of respect and great teaching if you want to be a teacher.
I think you should do the right thing and do what’s right. Go and get a job and get a big house.

Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt inspires me because he is one of the fastest people to win the sprint in 2009. He is a five-time world and three time olympic gold medalist in sprinting. He was born in the 21 of august 1986 in Trelawny, Jamaica and he lives is Kingston, Jamaica. He won three gold medals in 100, 200 and 4x100 meter sprint from the olympic games, but especially 100m sprint. 

Usain Bolt is the best until Yohan Blake and Tyson Gay beat him in a sprint contest at the olympic games, but still holding the world title of the fastest time.
Jamaican sprinter Usain bolt inspires me because he sprints really fast and he makes me think that I can run fast like him.

When is the right time to swear?

When is the right time to swear, if your having a fight or if you really want to that's when the right time to swear. For 18 yr olds it’s probably ok but for like 13 or 12 yrs old it's inappropriate for children under age. My dad swears a lot he just swore right now, he says that it is a second language.

Our class has been reading articles about swearing and offensive language. it should be illegel to swear because it is very rude and it could hop on to another person or copies them who swears.


Swearing is very rude:for example mutha fugger don't do that you peach thats wrong you kick. That is an example but real swearing is really rude.

Solar Powered Plane

A solar powered plane has recently been in the news.The plane flew from Switzerland to Morocco, a distance of around 2000 kms, to prove that the sun’s energy can be used on long-distance flight.

Bertrand Piccard and Andre Borschberg were pilots. They did this because they wanted to make a world record and to help other people get these type of planes. The world record was the first plane to fly without fuel for this distance.  

solar impulse’s engineers built this plane. They put bluish plates called solar panels on the wings of the plane that convert sunlight into electricity.

Last year every monday we went to Tamaki College to learn about what and how to do stuff like science, cooking in food, graphics with Miss Ferguson and more other stuff that is really cool. But this year we got to go on thursday, We did japanese with Mr Ishibashi ft Mr Aki and we had alot of fun with mr Ishibashi.

In the year 2004 AD Kenny, Samson, Miracle and I went to the tribe because they haven’t had dinner
in ages. So they went out to find some food to eat and that's what exactly what they did, they went to the scary mammoth cave where all the mammoths are.

They would obviously bring weapons to kill them but samson brang a secret weapon he had in his hand.He had a flute to make their friends not bored. He loved playing it but sometimes his friends get annoyed when he plays.


he finnaly made it to the cave of mammoths nobody made it out. so they found them and killed the weak
ones and the mother got angry so he killed Kenny. Samson put the giant mammoth to sleep and won the battle.

Vincent had a very sad life.Vincent had an older brother who died at birth. His name was also Vincent Van Gogh.Van Gogh suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy as well as other mental and physical conditions, he was not appreciated from his mother and father.

Vincent van gogh had a very bad life so he had an idea that was very heartbreaking. Vincent committed suicide.Vincent van gogh shot himself in a wheatfield in Auvers in France but did not die until 2 days later at the age of 37.Vincent’s brother Theo died six months after Vincent and is buried next to him in Auvers,France

.Vincent’s brother’s wife collected Vincent’s paintings and letters           after his death and dedicated herself to getting his work the recognition it deserved.In a short period of ten years Van Gogh made approximately 900 paintings, wow thats alot.Vincent van Gogh did not cut off his ear. Whats the drink for me?

Coffee is one of the riches things in the world to make in a drink. same as soft drinks like coca cola and sprite. the richest hot drinks are ethier coffee or tea. first thing i’m going to talk about is coffee. Coffee is one of the most popular hot drink in the world. they sell them at popular shops like mc donalds in mc cafe and other cafes in good places to sell it.

the second best is tea and tea is alright. its nice with sugar or no sugar, its nice with alot of hot water, some people do like tea allot like my dad and my mum, they drink tea everyday in like the morning and at night. its so cool to drink tea because its nice with sugar.

icing cold water is one of my favorite drinks because it’s so nice and iced cold, especaily on a hot day i love iced cold water. i like soft drinks like coke and fanta too.

camp

Today on Monday 12 of March 2012 I came to the yr 7&8 did activitys like food prep, boxing and kayaking. The first activity we did was food prep and we made the worst(best) scones ever and it was nice. after that we did kayaking and i was waiting for the bombing Then we started doing boxing. It was hard to punch because we had to do it alot. The last thing we did was going to the pools, then we had a shower, got changed and went back to school to get ready for movie night. At 9:00pm we got ready for movie night so we got our sleeping bag and went to the street to watch gifted hands.When the movie finished we went to bed and everyone went quiet.

the next day Mrs Nua shout hidyhii campers, and we shouted hidyhoo and we got up to do the fitness on the field

Cybersmart

All year long, I am learning about Cyber Smart at Pt England school.Cyber Smart means that you go on the right thing and stayon the right thing. I like being Cyber smart because its cool and its safe. Nearly everyone in the school is cyber smart.

The wrong thing to do when you're cyber smart is to go on rude things, go on violent stuff like stick games and blood graphics. That is the last thing i would do if i was on the internet. Other things would be to get in trouble if you go on the wrong thing.

duffy show

It was a hot summers day when we had the Duffy show because we were going to watch it. we were so exited when we watched it because I've been watching it when we were like 7 years old. I love the Duffy show because they are really creative and the have good sences and there funny.

so we started with the Duffy show and it all started with Duffy and his new brother Scruffy. They were brothers and they were good friends until Duffy went into the garage sale stuff and found a book. He Found a book that he was really interested in so he read it. Scruffy wanted to play rugby but he wouln't come,so he left to play with manu.He wanted to play rugby and Duffy wanted to read so Duffy read a book to him. the end

netball

On Thursday we had netball with Liz the teacher. When we got there we saw the year 6’s on the court by the field. When we got on the court Liz taught us to pass and dribble the ball while we have it in our hands, the ball felt as hard as french long stick bread.

Then after we got good at catching, passing and dribbling we got to a game where there is four sides and in those sides are one circle. Obviously there are rules, no pushing, shoving, hitting or anything illegal. We started playing, it was pretty hard for me because we cant step and we cant run with the bal

Finally we finnished with the game because i was really hot and i was sweating like a person having a shower.with the game finnished and the training done im ready for a real game. Sadly we didn’t have another game, we went to our class to rest. that was a good practice.

The treaty of waitangi was first signed in 1840 in New Zealand. William hobson signed the contract for queen victoria so they can make peace. they used muskets and other empowering items. so what they did to get those impowering items are to give the europeans food and other suppies so they would give the muskets for the war.now they have signed the treaty and they have peace with the fellow europeans.

big holidays

Hello and welcome to 2012. I like my brother because hes annoying and hes cool too. Its fun having a big brother because he buys like cool games and food like Chinese food for all of my family. But the best thing I like about 2012 my coolest thing about 2011 holiday is the hanging out with my friends and my family.We hang out nearly everyday but all we do is going to the beach or going to G.I or any were else. At the end of the holidays come school time and that means another year until the next big holiday.So that means that I'm gonna be learning at school. cya
